Crackin' the whip during summer . . . .

We just do.
I don't know why.
Just about every afternoon, we have something that we call Q.T.
It stands for Quiet Time.

The kids can read.
Or color.
Or write in their summer journals.
Or work on a quiet thing.
But no TV.
No video games.
Being together is not permitted.

And usually in late June, I crack the whip on school review.
On this day, Mimi was working in a workbook doing numbers & letters.
Middle and Little were doing math facts.
And Big was doing a Khan Academy tutorial on adding/subtracting integers.

Crack.
The.
Whip!
