Happy Birthday, Grandma . . . .

This is an old picture, but it suits the purpose just fine. Plus, though taken back in 2005, she looks just about the same. Happy 102nd birthday!

* What I am looking for is not "out there." It is me.

* Sometimes it helps to know that I just can't do it all.

* The quality of my decisions is directly proportional to my patience and my not knowing.

* When I say no to a request for my time, I am not going away from that person, I am going to myself.

* It is fighting our feelings that causes suffering, not our feelings.

* I will remember that my illusion of control is just that . . . an illusion.

* Only as I am aware of the present will I have the opportunity to be fully alive.
