Jaz

Meet Jaz. He's the newest addition to our family. He's about, uh, 8 weeks old . . hand tamed, hand raised pearl cockatiel. He's super sweet & the kids absolutely adore him!

* What I am looking for is not "out there." It is me.

* Sometimes it helps to know that I just can't do it all.

* Laughter is like the human body wagging its tail.

* Solitude is not a luxury. It is a right and a necessity.

* My fear is real. When I honor it, I do not need to be controlled by it.

* It is not possible to live a rich, full life without friends. I have to be one to have one.

* The quality of my decisions is directly proportional to my patience and my not knowing.

* When I say no to a request for my time, I am not going away from that person, I am going to myself.

* It is fighting our feelings that causes suffering, not our feelings.

* I will remember that my illusion of control is just that . . . an illusion.

* Only as I am aware of the present will I have the opportunity to be fully alive.
